“Elephante”
Hey everyone I have a new tumblr account… because I want a place where I can reblog posts I like and post things I find! Yay!

The last paragraph:
In fact, the combination of the tolerant people who join Tumblr, the constant reference to inside jokes, and use of special terms, makes Tumblr its own culture. Members of the “tumblr culture” have a large source of pride and loyalty attached to Tumblr, and often spend large portions of time scrolling through their dashboard. While everyone comes from different geographical locations, the amount of time and energy many of them put into Tumblr makes it close to a second home. I think you could study Tumblr with other cultures around the planet, with respect to the norms, special characteristics, and relationships between leaders and followers. The top “urban dictionary” post about Tumblr states that Tumblr is “the epitome of culture and the total antithesis of the modern day pop culture that is so ingrained in today’s children”. This post also goes on to say, “You either get it, or you don’t”. Not everyone understands Tumblr, but for those who do, the easiest way to describe the phenomena is to compare it to Narnia, for it looks boring on the outside, but it is magical on the inside.
